The plastic grease is a silicone paste with a high content of PTFE, white in appearance, resistant to moisture, water, steam, alkalis, acids, oils, oxygen, vacuum and long-term atmospheric influences. Long-term resistance to low and high temperatures. It was originally conceived as a long-life lubricant for bridge bearings, where it resists long-term atmospheric influences. The lubricant is made on the basis of silicone gel with a high content of PTFE, which gives the base airgel a white appearance and excellent lubricating properties. The lubricant exhibits high thixotropic properties and, due to the low surface tension of the liquid component, has excellent flowability, so that it easily fills the micropores of surfaces and acts as effective separators. Wets well and adheres to dry surfaces of metals, ceramics, plastics and glass, protecting against moisture, water, methanol, glycol and mineral oils.

Application: Plastic grease is used as a lubricant for lubricating delicate mechanisms, flow meter slides, valves, even in the food industry. In electrical engineering as a damping and dielectric medium. It is also used as a high-temperature lubricant up to temperatures of 220°C for slow-speed rolling and sliding bearings, screws, when lubricating vacuum devices and oxygen fittings. Does not damage rubber or plastic materials. It has good preservation and durability parameters.

Temperature range of use -70°C to 220°C.

Physical and chemical resistance: it is non-flammable, non-volatile even under high vacuum and is not disturbed even by sharp water vapor. At operating temperatures of -70°C to 150°C it shows only a small change in consistency. At permanent temperatures above 180°C, slow oxidation of the liquid component of the paste occurs in the air, the products of which can have a corrosive effect on some construction materials. It has a very good resistance to diluted solutions of acids, alkalis and salts. It does not dissolve in water, glycol methanol and mineral oils, it does not resist gasoline, toluene, xylene, trichlorethylene and similar organic solvents.

Health and technical information: Plastic lubricant is biologically harmless and does not cause skin irritation. When the paste enters the eye, tearing occurs as in the case of a foreign object. According to Act 356/2003 Coll. It is not classified as dangerous and since it does not contain other substances classified as dangerous, a safety data sheet does not need to be issued for it.
